Really interesting conversation. When I saw the GMT on the front of the web site I was definitely thinking "gotta have one". Now I'm not so sure. When travelling the ability to move the main hour hand without stopping the watch is really useful. I don't understand the dial either, the dive/GMT mix seems rather silly.

You are quite right. I looked at the site a few days ago when someone on here said the bezel was bi-directional and I'm pretty sure it was confirmed. Apologies if I was seeing things. Ever hopeful that improvements have been made.

PS. This is a dual timer - the dial says so :)

PPS. I carry an iPhone everywhere and I have the exact time in several time zones on there. My wristwatch is a quick reference at a glance.
Dancematt wrote:Forgive me but using a gmt for the half hour conundrum is massively impractical, given all the movements out there to combat this like ani/digis, dual timers and some world timers (though the last option is still not great) why use a GMT with a bezel slightly out of line? The only other option for a gmt is to move both the main hour and minute hands to that 'other' timezone leaving current time with the gmt hand which still sucks as you'll need to look at it more and you won't have minutes for your own country so why not just use a dual timer?
Sure it's a dual timer in that it follows two time zones but it's complication is gmt thus this is a dual timer and much better suited to your problem (that isn't really an issue because we all carry mobile phones we effectively can follow two time zones with ease);

And although quartz this thing is so cool, slide your finger up the case one side to set the main hands and the other for the 2nd time zone. Easy as pie.

I miss all the great things that may never be.
