The basic idea of the Terminator, a contrasting tachymeter ring, first debuted on.... the Red, which may well be a Terminator avant la lettre.

So Lynx, for all practical purposes, you already own a Terminator. ;-)

I hear what you are saying but I am one of those people that will collect several examples of the same watch, for example although I have a C4 I also want a C4 Corax and the Gold Terminators do look good, you have to admit :)

Has anyone received one these yet? I'm particularly fascinated with the C4IP4 model. Not really a fan of the bracelet though. A standard SS bracelet or a leather band would be preferable. Anyone have any pics besides what is on the site?

I actually received one about a week or two ago, the C4IP4... absolutely stunning watch. I was also skeptical about the mixed IPK / steel watchband, but it looks a lot better than it does in the photo and, if given the option of changing it today, I would definitely stick with the mixed band.

Since you specifically mentioned the IP4, I thought I'd mention that though the picture on the CW site comes off as if the watch had a white face, the face is actually silver, which I didn't expect but do really like. Frankly, I liked the watch in the pictures, but I love the watch now that I've seen it in person.

The only concern I really have with the watch is the IPK and whether it will chip; the areas between links and the edges of the IPK-coated pieces are of particular concern. On that side, I suppose only time will tell.

Overall, hats off to Christopher Ward for delivering an amazing watch at an amazing price. The product is wonderful, customer service was excellent (thanks, Wera), and I'd recommend the watches to anyone. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the next discount code (budget constraints are budget constraints, unfortunately) so that I can pick up a C4 red and a C5.

Lowlevelowl, I hope that helps.

Just as a quick note for any fellow Americans considering picking up a CW watch -- mine shipped via Royal Mail / USPS registered mail and got to me (in suburban NYC) in exactly 2 weeks, from order date to delivery.

Eamus,

That did help! Any chance we could get some pics? I think you would be the first on the forum to post pics of the C4 Terminator!

Thanks,

Welcome Eamus. I am surprised that it took 2 weeks. Mine have always come in 7-8 days from time of order, but 2 weeks is certainly good.

Well after Eamus' description, and drooling over the pics on the official site, I decided to go for the C4IP4 Terminator. My lovely SO placed the order yesterday for my v-day gift. I'll try and post some pictures once it arrives. Now to try and be patient....
