New Spring Colours Drop 09.02.2023?

Post by Yoobaldy »

Did everyone else see the new "Spring " colours announced earlier today on CW 's instagram account?

The colours look interesting but I wonder when they say small do they mean 36mm small or even smaller?

Per their hashtags for the C63 Sealander.
My wife thinks I have a watch problem. I'm a glass half-full guy, I think of it as a healthy interest in horology ;)

I didn’t until you pointed it out!

If it was going to be a smaller watch than even the 36mm C63, I think they’d be hinting at a new watch release, not just new colors. Probably going to be the 36mm sealander.

I do not need another watch. I do not need another watch.

I’m intrigued by the colors! One of them might make for a nice watch for my wife. And man, if the “small(er)” reference is hinting at 34mm, it might be a done deal for me!

Seven is a good number, Paul - one for each day of the week.

Yep, glad I got in on the OG Lucerne blue. I'm not crazy about the gradient on these either for some reason.

It feels like purple is the new orange
I think it’s a good set of new colours for the spring. However, I’ve got my eyes set forward to the lovely monochromeness of the FLE on a faded black strap.

I applaud use of color and the variety. Makes them extra special to be seasonal or annual LEs.

Quite! 36mm it is. I do like that Viridian one. Haven't got a green.... :problem:

Surely purple is the new black?

We're talking about these three I take it? The revival of the CW "ladies range" is a good thing imho. We've just been talking about digital renders v real world photos and it seems to me that the display of these pretty things alongside clear varnished and manicured nails is a clear indicator.

Is that a deliberate oxymoron?
