I doubt there will be a preview for quartz!

Regardless, I think it makes sense for them to backtrack a little on their previous position on quartz, if it's just to bring in higher end quartz movements rather than bog standard ones.

You might be on to something. The picture in the Loupe email does mysteriously look like a quartz crystal. Maybe they're taking a page out of the Grand Seiko playbook and growing their own quartz crystals now.... probably not.....

I'm wondering if there's quartz coming, or more likely, based on the email today with an x-ray that we might see a transparent sapphire dial or skeletonized movement- either of which would help show off a new in-house movement. I think the timing with the first big enthusiast show just a couple weeks away (windup sf) makes sense.

This is definitely a helmet. Based on the “Pioneering” headline, I’m thinking space or dive, though it seems odd that the visor would retract so I’m not sure.

^^^ May be racing. CW have a partnership with Team Brit, which as I understand is a racing team for people with disabilities. Which could certainly be called pioneering :D

Hmm space helmet, quartz crystal. Could it be a quartz Chrono to compete with the Speedmaster?

Of if that's a sapphire, and a space helmet... Maybe a moonphase watch with a sapphire dial? Oh wait, that's exactly what the C1 Moonglow is :-k

It's a Bluetooth enabled Bel Canto so you can hear the chime when you're driving. (Or launching into space)...
