The leaf? I haven't the slightest idea what that might mean. Only 2 days though. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow, but I'm free on Thursday fortunately. :D

I think we can safely assume release is due for Thursday.

Is CW perhaps playing a peverse form of Rock, Paper, Scissors?

Brian I imagine that, like me, you worked out what it was (other than the fine detail of dimensions) when last weeks postal drop landed on your door mat.

I seem to have ordered one yesterday, but will now have to tell myself to forget what it is, until Thursday!

I am now wondering whether a 47mm case watch, 20mm thick, L2L of 55mm will be too big for me…

This has to be the worst kept secret on the Internet.

CW asks for an embargo, yet does early previews, early pre-orders for special customers that show price, name, size, metal type, and pre-order completion date. Enough email hints that pretty much everyone had guessed the specs before the preview. Well done CW you've outdone your embargo yet again =D>

I'm guessing the CW marketing team is celebrating the leaks rather than being annoyed by them. After all it is all the leaks that have created the buzz for this watch, with people pre-ordering one of their most expensive watches to date without having actually seen it.

Steady on, Neil

You’ll get the back of your legs slapped and a spell on the naughty step if you mention dimensions.

Someone asked about a release date and was knocked back, give me a break!!

Hints and clues are under the control of CW. I enjoy the game and the chat and the speculation. Leaks from people who have seen the previews they can't really control, and they rely on goodwill (which they largely have in spades - both from reviewers and from punters like me). If they manage to make it to the planned release day without everything spilling over and spilling out then fair play. It's different every time. I think (tell me if I'm wrong) there was one release brought forward as the 'leak' had escaped them. As ever, there are always people unhappy here or there with this or that aspect of the whole thing.
It wouldn't be General Disgruntlement part of the forum if everyone was happy

I have a sneaking suspicion they want the leaks that they can't control to create buzz. Why else would they continue to release the info to lots of people ahead of time and "hope" they follow their rules. If they truly think they can keep it a secret after all of the previews, pre-orders etc. then CW need a new marketing team. I don't think that is the case though, I think they have a very smart marketing team that is turning up the excitement for this watch by the uncontrolled leaks, that they kinda control :)

I'm not being negative towards their marketing of this release, I actually think CW have done a great job of making people think they want it to be a secret, while enjoying the fruits of it not being a secret.

I couldn't make any of the previews but I am assuming it will be a LE?

There seem to be a number of pre-orders being quoted - I hope there are some left when it does go live on the website!

Oh I agree! And though I maybe didn't express it very clearly a few pages back, I think that if you want to market something and not break the bank (or run things like Rolex) then this is a creative way to do that. Fair play from me. As I said before, George Clooney could have been introducing us to this new watch, but it would cost an awful lot more

Hi Bob. Whether or not it is an LE is part of the embargoed information, before anyone attempts to answer. You'll have to wait until it is launched to find out, unless CW release the info in the meantime.

There has got to be some left when it goes live. Otherwise it sort of defeats the object of all the so-called buzz, if only the preview attendees could preorder.
