New SH21 C63 Snow Leopard and BMF for Q2
In the latest Loupe on page 9, there's an article about v2 of the SH21 movement. The same article goes on to say that the C63 Snow Leopard and C63 BMF will be the last watches with the current v1 SH21.
Not heard of either of these watches, anyone know what Mike's referring to?

Thanks for starting this subject as I was wondering the same thing. The way it's written in Loupe makes it read like we know what the Snow Leopard and BMF (what is that an abbreviation of?) designs are. Otherwise why not just say there will be 2 final watches with the SH21 Mk1 released in March?CBMVic20 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 3:53 pm In the latest Loupe on page 9, there's an article about v2 of the SH21 movement. What does BMF stand for?
I have to say I’m going to have to buy a Snow Leopard just because it’s called a Snow Leopard

Re: New SH21 C63 Snow Leopard and BMF for Q2
The BMF might be the Builders Merchant Federation, but that would probably be a private bespoke project.
Alternatively Is there a watch organisation called the British something or other?

I’m guessing, British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF).

Could they be bespoke watches? Maybe the Snow Leopard Supporters Association want a watch for club members

I can't imagine it would be anything other than Bad MF'er.
Although it could be some sort of play on Mike France, a special build just for him. Bad Mike France? Bougie Mike France?

Re: New SH21 C63 Snow Leopard and BMF for Q2
Given the history of connexions with motoring organisations, I would back Richard’s guess. There are other things it could be, but I would doubt it.
Could the Snow Leopard be related to some wildlife conservation project (or Stelmaria?) Is there some kind of foundation or project?
I stress that the mods have no idea at this stage - I’m as in the dark as anyone.

Re: New SH21 C63 Snow Leopard and BMF for Q2
JUST HAD A THOUGHT
It's got to be the Blue Marine Foundation. CW already has a tie in to them pretty heavily with #Tide straps and the C60 #Tide.
Case solved. Good job everyone.
