I'd like to see the Glasswing Pink in a real-life setting rather than the renders. Is it pink enough? :-k

I guess I was confused by the email and thought mulberry was included in this release.

The email does say 6 new colors, but counts dragonfly twice, besides which it was already a color offered. But just not in this size/iteration. None of this matters anyway if I ignore the marketing email and enjoy the release.
My bad too - I was just scrolling through all the color options for the 36mm and assumed they were all new. Should have realized because the new blues etc. are pre-order but the mulberry is available now.
I post a few watch pictures now and then to a little Instagram account - 1 follower and counting!

I missed the limited edition "silver dial GMT" that showed up in the July sale but that non-GMT version is nice too. It could be an everyday watch. The other colors are nice but I see them more as special occasion pieces.

Reminds me of the rather enigmatic Grand Seiko Cherry Blossom colour. Shame it’s 36mm

I suspect there will be people equally dischuffed because neither the Kingfisher nor the Dagger is available in 36mm.

One wonders what criteria might have been applied in pairing colours and sizes, and by whom? :-k

If I'm not mistaken, these have the updated consort bracelet with microadjustment. Nice to see that making it's way into the lineup.

Probably, CW generally follow the watch zeitgeist.

I’d really like to know more generally how CW decides what makes it to market and what doesn’t. There have been some really good prototypes that didn’t make it - the Powerglow comes to mind.

No doubt they’ll have developed some kind of product development process to help with this decision making, however subjective judgement will play in to this somewhere.

Have been thinking about getting a 20mm blue canvas strap and pretty sure I saw one a couple of weeks ago on the website but it seems CW have now dropped the green and blue canvas options. Brown is still available. Blue canvas available only on a bronze buckle (for the Dune bronze/blue). Guessing related to the new strap options with the new colours? Seems I’ll have to shop around or get a hybrid rubber. Shame as I thought canvas really suited the ‘explorer’ watches whereas I see rubber as more suited to divers (I have green canvas on my green Sealander gmt and really like it).

These sun-ray dials would work well in the Atoll C60 with the relief bezel.

Are you reading this CW? This could be a new LE release (thank me later).

Were these all pre-order only from release? If not, has anyone ordered a new colour and had it delivered and in hand?

Keen to see some (glasswing) pictures!

Yes, I think they were. For delivery in October, if my memory is correct.
