The talk about the screws has me gun shy about ordering on bracelet now! In my impatience with process, I’m sure I’d scratch up a bracelet trying to remove the screws, if I could even get it done.

Bracelet resized but keeping it on a strap for the time being. With the simple B/W dial, any strap will go with it

Will try to post a photo with the C63 next to the OP36mm, DJ36mm, Explorer and BB58 within the next few days for comparison

Looks great. I have a hard time telling if the indices and hands are darker than just plain steel. Is that the case?

Well as regards the bracelets, perhaps we all need to buy the same piece of kit that CW will use to adjust the bracelets...

I ordered my C65 GMT on a bracelet and paid the $10 extra to have them resize it for me before shipping. It came perfectly sized and was worth the few dollars extra to not have to mess with it. It looks like bracelet resize is $15 now, but IMHO still worth it to get a pristine bracelet that fits right out of the box.

I had to resize my Monta bracelet which had screwed links and I was sweating the whole time, hoping the screwdriver wouldn't slip. I managed to complete the job without any scratches, but would have willingly paid the extra few dollars to not have to mess with it. If you really want it on the bracelet my advice would be to pay the $15 and enjoy a fitted bracelet as soon as it is delivered.

Ooh good! I’ll be really curious to hear the results. I’ve got my eye on the 36mm white dial. The bracelet is on pre-order, straps available immediately. I don’t have any interest in either the black or camel vintage oak they’re offering the watch on though.
No answer for you on if strap swap is possible, unfortunately. I only asked them if they can send mine with the xs/short length strap, and all they said back was that ALL the 36mm sealanders will ship with the short length straps.

If I order on bracelet, that’s absolutely what I’ll do. I purchased a bracelet from StrapCode for a Seiko that also has screw links. In that case, however, the screw was on just one side. It was very easy to adjust.

Combination of brushed and polished surfaces make it a dial with plenty of contrast and good legibility.

It’s really not that bad. Put down a layer of scotch tape on the areas surrounding the screw holes. Get one of the tools mentioned in the thread (or don’t, two screwdrivers will work fine). Go slow, get some magnification and some light.

Or pay them to do it for you, yeah.

Despatch notice emails received for both the green on bracelet and yellow on strap. I ordered the latter an hour or so after the green and was actually pre-order 12 August when I clicked the button.

Both arriving tomorrow :)

For those of you wrestling with the screw style bracelet for the first time, I’ve written a post about how to address them. Others have added good insights. There are some specialized tools that can help, but all you really need is two 1.5mm screwdrivers and some patience.

And heat it up right before you start. The bracelet, not the scotch, unless you want to.

I have it stuck in my head that the hands (and indices?) on the white dial are gun metal, but I can’t find that referenced anywhere on the CW website. Am I making this up? Did perhaps Mike France mention this during to forum sneak peak.

The Sealander GMT calls out gun metal specifically in the specs. I didn't see it in the 39mm. Just says top-brushed indexes. I'm not sure why there would be any difference.

Hmmm ... not 100% sure. A watch for the ladies in this colourway me thinks.

One thing I can take away from this is that I'm confident that there will be a C63 in my future ... I was convinced the 39mm would be slightly too large, but perhaps I should look at the black GMT after all.
