Maybe I’ll have a sort of answer soon. I emailed CW yesterday asking if they can ship mine with the XS oak leather instead of the standard length. I hope to hear from them soon and I’ll report back.jkbarnes wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:12 am On a related note, the strap offerings for the 36mm are limited despite a wider range of 20mm straps on offer from CW. If one were to contact CW, do you think it would be possible to purchase a 36mm Sealander on, let’s say, a black and white #tide strap? Would they do that sort of strap swap?

Ooh good! I’ll be really curious to hear the results. I’ve got my eye on the 36mm white dial. The bracelet is on pre-order, straps available immediately. I don’t have any interest in either the black or camel vintage oak they’re offering the watch on though.

How crazy is this then?
My order is being shipped in 2 parts both supposedly arriving today. Part by DPD and the other part DHL.
What on earth is that about?

That is my thinking Guy, the extra coloured strap being the second package.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:23 am ^^^^ One of the straps, or bracelet, coming separately perhaps?

Gawd knows! What I do know is that next day delivery does not mean you will get it the next. Two emails within no time at all saying delivery will be today followed by delivery will be tomorrow.MiniMpi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:28 amThat is my thinking Guy, the extra coloured strap being the second package.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:23 am ^^^^ One of the straps, or bracelet, coming separately perhaps?

Re: New Sealander colors coming Thursday.
It’s CWs new shipping method to help with the customs charges in the US. As the US charges different taxes on different watch components, CW are starting to ship items separately to make it easier to resolve import duty issues.
The first parcel will be the watch, the second will contain the movement, the third the strap, and the fourth package will be the instructions to tell you how to put everything together.
Good luck....

My order has just arrived in entirety via DHL.
Now I have to wait until 9.30 tonight to unwrap.
What was going on with the delivery emails dunno but doesn't matter now!
