Some? I'd suggest 300 posts were worthy of removal!

I think every time this thread flips to a new page, add 5 posts to the rule. :silent:

Really? And what exactly does it tell you about me highway62?

You see, I acknowledged (and apologised for) an overly aggressive tone last night. Lesson learnt.

What I didn't do, and would never dream of doing, is insinuating that a fellow member is not the right type of person for this forum based on his choice of words to describe dishonest/untrustworthy participants.

Can't wait to hear what you learned about me from my use of the words 'thieving gypo cheats'. If you are remotely accurate, you can choose my lottery numbers this weekend, and I'll buy you the Christopher Ward watch of your choice.

I never would have believed the sales corner rule would have attracted such ire and angst. Clearly a sign that it has been set too low. I recommend 1000 posts. That should shock people into simply putting up with it and getting on with joining in without whinging.

maybe it should work the other way... open for your first 300 posts and then closed - those who have posted above that don't need to buy any more watches, and perhaps even need protection against the temptation :D

alternatively make it 30 posts and 1 month membership - enough time to get involved, and no need to speed post!

I've been a member of TZ-UK for over 4 years, and still haven't posted enough to see sales!
Mind you, I haven't been banned either, so I can't have posted much.
There's always time for one more.

Has highway gone ?

His post-count, avatar, forum status, etc have all been deleted from his posts on the previous page.
Or is it just a system malfunction.

He is no longer in the members list - which suggests that the account has been deleted

That is indeed a shame. The guy says what he thinks, and with considerably better verbal economy than most!
