Just make sure you do it properly - it's not difficult.

Sorry to hear that. Do you have the serial ? It should be added to the Blacklist in case someone tries to sell it

30 posts to stop a criminal? Are you mad? It's completely irrelevant.

As a new member who is very keen to chat, but moreover to purchase a watch, I find it very frustrating to have to post 30 times before my money is considered good enough.

I am effectively insentivised to post cra#p/pointless messages in order to meet the quota. Meanwhile, there's every chance that watches on your sales corner trade below fair price because I am denied access.

It's your forum, not mine. And I respect your right to set your own rules. But I suspect you are as likely to deter as many frustrated potential customers/contributors with the 30 post rule, as you are thieving gypo cheats.

Respectful regards,
Ben

Not exactly sure what that's supposed to mean. Would you be so kind as to elaborate?

*shrug*

we also have to wonder what kind of community member you will be if this is really that big of a deal. and if you post crap/pointless messages to meet the quota, the mods may delete them and warn you.

it is what it is. coming on this thread and complaining won't change it (look back through 19 pages and see how much effect it has).

you can join in and be a part of the community and the sales forums will open up to you. if it's really that much of an inconvenience, then... well... i don't know what to say. if members here want a bigger, wider audience for their sales posts, there are plenty of better venues than here, and we all know that (WUS, eBay, to name a couple).

Judge my character in any way you see fit. Like me. Love me. Loathe me. Hate me. That's your prerogative. I won't be losing any sleep. I didn't join the forum to find a pen-pal. I'm a very keen watch collector. I love to hear the views of other enthusiasts. I'm happy to give an opinion if asked. What more do you want?
