Re: New sales-corner rule
Newbie here trying to understand the system. If I am banned from reading/replying in the Sales Corner until 50 posts, why am I able to see Sales Corner threads when I click on a thread title after I click on "View active topics"? I happened to see one thread - asked a question in said thread - only to have the post disapproved (during my first 5 newbie post approval by admin rule). But I was able to read this member's sales post and was able to see the link (as well as click on it) to his Ebay sales page.
And even though I now understand the Sales corner rule, I don't understand that when the Admin disapproved my post, that he couldn't have taken another 30 seconds to answer that question I posted. Where else do I post an Ebay sales question if not the Sales Corner?

I'm not enjoying this new rule. I own 4 Christopher Ward watches all bought from new and a bunch of CW straps for them too and yet I can't see the sales section just because I haven't posted 30 times on the forum. Not amused.

Re: New sales-corner rule
Well, at least you now have the grand total of one post! Welcome to the forum. Why not post something about yourself and your watches in the member introduction section? You will find that your post count builds up without speed posting if you join in. There is plenty to see and talk about. Also, forgive me if I'm mistaken, but I think you still need 30 posts before you can see the sales corner.
Edit: sorry, it was the other chap who mentioned 50 posts.

One post in two and a half years? And that rate you won't be able to see the sales corner for about another 75 years!

In fact, it's not a new rule – it has been there almost 2 years. Methinks I hear the sound of tiny hooves – clip – clop, clip – clop, over the rickety bridge!
