I’d be shot. The wife has yet to realise the two are different, as they are yet to be seen in the same place at the same time.

I must admit, it my favourite by far in the CW stable. Some of the others are a little too fussy for me.

First off, I really like these, they're very unusual. They look like something Captain Nemo might wear. As for some of the other CW's being too fussy? These Makaira's are BIG, the hour and minute hands look like kipper ties, they have three crowns and they're day-glow...very day-glow. Fussy? Possibly.

Des
Des - I know what you mean, but I was comparing it to something like the C70 motorsport, the C700, the C40 or the C7 Apex.
If you are a bit blind and just need to see the blinking time, then the clarity of the C11 works quite well.

I do like seeing these together - they’re actually quite different “in the metal” due to the different case height.

I have a different dilemma - I’m planning to sell my Elite 500 but have no idea how much they make nowadays!
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

Try looking at the Resale and Pricing Information in the CWArchive

I just read the specs of the two watches on the archive, and was surprised to find out the Elite has the ETA movement and the Extreme has the Sellita, both COSC rated.
I thought both were Sellita.
Any views of the two movements?

Often, much debated in WIS circles but they are 98% like for like movements.

To my mind, if they tick right within COSC spec and are reliable, which they generally are, I'm happy with either.

I have the standard C11 (but the Mercedes club version), vintage and quartz chronograph.

As to the original post, keep them both and look out for the other variants.
