New Bespoke LE Sector Dial 38mm - Pre-order live!

Post by cmpic »

Hi all,

I am launching the pre-order list for the new limited edition Azure Sector 38. It's a design I had been working on for a few months with CW. I think the final result has turned out very nice (if I may say so myself :D ). I hope you like it as well!

Some details:
  • Based on the 38mm Dune, featuring box crystal
    Textured inner dial
Pricing is the same as for standard Dune automatic (same for strap/bracelet options)
    5-6 month lead time
LE limited to 50 units max
Update: the watch is now available for pre-order on CW's website:
https://www.christopherward.com/bespoke ... E-BHB.html
Password: Azure38

Thanks for your interest and support!

Whoa! Amazing design! Good work and good luck. No watch funds for me this year but I really hope to see these in the wild.

I also am spent but this is an amazing design. The Dune platform is a great basis and this is quite a looker

This design appeals to me greatly, and the smaller C65 case is the one that suits me best. I’m in!

Well done on finalising what is a lovely, coherent design for this watch. I've followed some of the previous iterations and offered some views on CWE, and I think this final version is great.

Particularly nice details include the way the date window at 6 falls in between the concentric rings, the minute hand extending halfway into the minute track, the hour hand just reaching the inner circle, the lollipop of the second hand falling exactly halfway over the inner ring, the different textures on each part of the dial, the indented (rather than printed) vertical and horizontal lines, and accommodating the "SWISS MADE" wording between two rings. You've also chosen a nice font for the 12, 3, 9. I think you've also done a great job of getting a lot of crisp white onto the dial, which I know you wanted, despite having to use hands with faux vintage lume on them, as they were the only ones available from CW on the Dune. The faux vintage lume blocks at 12, 3, 6, 9 really help to bridge the two worlds of white and cream, and make the hands blend well with the dial.

As I said, well done on a great design, particularly given the constraints you had to work with.

I really hope it is a great success for you.

Thank you for that thoughtful "review". You have picked up nicely on the design elements I had been carefully putting together! None of it has missed your attention!

Very impressive, I think 38mm is just too small for me though. I hope you do well with the project though.:D

I am a regular visitor to this forum but don’t often comment but have just seen this link and looked at the images and read the observations by welshlad and am very impressed with how it looks so much so that I’ve signed up for one, so thank you.
(ps, the reason I don’t often comment is that this message took me half an hour to compose and I don’t normally have that much free time!!).

I'm curious, unless I missed it somewhere in your text, is there a deadline to sign up? Or is it open until it gets filled?

No particular deadline, but in 12 hours I already have the minimum quantity needed. I will leave it open for a few more days to ensure that everyone who wants one had a chance to put their name down...
