So I mocked it up very roughly on paint 3D (my "photoshop" skills leave a little something to be desired but I think the result is good enough). I used the Bader bracelet but in particular I think a navy/blue bezel, white dial on the navy/blue rubber strap would look great in theory.

Tempted by both of the existing options anyway!

Absolutely fair game and a worthy exercise to play 'what if'.

Interestingly I thought I would like the nay dial on the white/navy bezel best but I think I like the white dial with navy/light-blue bezel mockup better. Though rough, they do help with visualization.

Anybody want to go in on a two watch purchase, swap the movements/dials, and end up with the build you want?

One last picture to test my theory of the white dial on rubber strap with switched bezel. Quite like this one.

@nycWATCHnerd I'm tempted by the dual-purchase suggestion, not sure I have the expertise myself to do the dial swap though.

1. My 41mm BMT fits well but these are a tad smaller and my 8" wrist might swamp it a little!
2. They are all so nice, I'm struggling to find a favourite.
3. I'm not sure if this is the ultimate trident being banded about and don't want to jump the gun early, only to want a more higher specced model due imminently, I can probably only getting away with one purchase.

They won't be limited, so you can afford to wait.

Neither do I, so I would send it off to someone I know who has done work for me before modifying Seiko watches:
NorthEast Watch Works
We both decide to purchase the watches, send them to NEWW, he swaps dial/movement assembly, them sends watches back to us. Unfortunately, I assume this might also void the CW warranty though technically there is no reason it should.

I am going to the NYC CW Event tonight and will see them in person and then report back

In having a chat to Declan at CW a while ago, your swap would void warranty. The serial number of the watch is checked against specification when it left CW towers.

Then I need to convince one of my brothers to do the swap with me. This way if it ever goes back for service we can undo the swap beforehand.

@timepieces_and_bags I think these are the best two dial/bezel/strap-or-bracelet combinations.

When it was first mentioned, I thought switching the bezels on these would be great. But now that I see these mock ups, I do think CW made the right choice, if only by a hair. It all comes down to personal taste though, and no matter the bezel option I think these look great and hope they're very successful.

Still not enough for me to go for one over my C63 GMT though, and I think I only want one GMT. I know it actually. I don't need another GMT. I DON'T NEED ANOTHER GMT.

Another GMT with little innovation :o0:

Don't get me wrong, as a recent owner of a GMT (see lurid pic here), I'm looking forward to the inevitable limited edition Trident 300 Pro Titanium Elite that has the extra chapter ring for the second time zone whilst retaining the rotating bezel for the dive countdown. Not seen any other GMT watch that has this and really find it useful.

Now we’re past the Trident GMT release date all eyes on the Ultimate Pro…expected this month as per previous quotes from Mike France

I like these too. They are out there. The original S302. The Elite 1000 GMT as well (although the implementation was admittedly clunky). The Seiko SPB381 and 383 are also out there.

Well mine turned up today and I’m really pleased with it. Fortunately very legible for me, which is always a worry I have with white dials.

I ordered it with the bader and aqua flex straps, having swapped it over to the latter until I can get my tools out at lunch time.

Very pleased with the comfort of the watch, having had a 42mm previously, this feels a lot more suited to my wrist.

Shall be taking it on an adventure overseas in the coming week, so perfect timing Image

Excellent! Enjoy the trip and don’t forget to add pics to the Gallery and Reference Gallery.
