Comparing these numerals to other CW GMT's it looks like they made the top of the numerals longer on this version than others. It seems like a strange decision to make the numeral one look like the letter L. I still might buy one of these as I like the overall look, but am having a hard time unseeing this now :)
I can't unsee it now and the problem is I don't like it.

If they had given it a slight slope similar to the Grand Seiko it would have looked much better, or they could have made the top line a lot smaller like other CW GMT’s and it would have looked better.

Sometimes change for the sake of change isn’t better.

@Timepiece.Pete I'm close, they are lovely. So what's holding me back?
1. My 41mm BMT fits well but these are a tad smaller and my 8" wrist might swamp it a little!
2. They are all so nice, I'm struggling to find a favourite.
3. I'm not sure if this is the ultimate trident being banded about and don't want to jump the gun early, only to want a more higher specced model due imminently, I can probably only getting away with one purchase.

^^^^ @Redpat

The new GMTs are not 'the ultimate Trident'.

I went for white dial on Bader, but also ordered one of the blue Aquaflex straps to go with it.

Thanks @Bahnstormer_vRS . Do you have any idea of when and what the "ultimate trident" will entail?
Thanks

There's a long thread on it in General Discussion.

The answer is that we don’t know the answer. Now we see through a glass, darkly…

“Ultimately” all shall be revealèd!

Thanks @Amor Vincit Omnia . I went over the thread mentioned by @Bahnstormer_vRS and quickly realised the answer, you are spot on. There are several pages of speculation, hopes and wishes, out of which I came away with absolutely no further knowledge but a great deal of anticipation.

Exactly the purpose of teasers. But it does get people talking which, in a forum context, is a good thing. It can be amusing to see what outlandish ideas people come up with, but historically speaking, in most cases someone either nails it or comes pretty close.

1) Buy on the bader bracelet. I've found CW watches to wear a little larger on the bader bracelet, maybe because the fixed center link on the shoulder effectively lengthens the lug-to-lug measurement a bit?

2) The only real solution is to buy them all  you never fully know if something will or won't work for you until you get the actual thing on your wrist!

I'm very new to the forum so apologies in advance if this isn't appropriate, and of course I mean no disrespect to the designers of what I think are two already great looking watches, but as mentioned by others above, I also wondered what the blue and white dial GMTs would look like if the bezels were switched, so navy/white bezel with navy dial and navy/blue bezel with white dial. So I mocked it up very roughly on paint 3D (my "photoshop" skills leave a little something to be desired but I think the result is good enough). I used the Bader bracelet but in particular I think a navy/blue bezel, white dial on the navy/blue rubber strap would look great in theory.

Tempted by both of the existing options anyway!
