Yes; only 40mm upon release.

It is, of course, not beyond the bounds of possibility that, in the fullness of time, versions in alternate sizes may be made available.

Which sizes or when, I've not got a Scooby Doo; purely a hunch / guesswork on my part.

I’m picking up some love here for the C63 GMT. It’s the only swimmable CW GMT I need, so these wouldn’t get a look-in.

I agree.

I would like the navy/baby-blue bezel with white dial and the navy/white bezel with the navy dial.

Maybe I should get both and swap the bezel inserts. Has anyone ever done that on a CW watch? More difficult than doing it on a Seiko?

I believe @reubicon has done the very same recently with a couple of C60 Trident Pro 600s, to achieve the dial / bezel colour combination he was after.

He bought two watches and swapped bezels; reporting afterwards that he felt to swap the dial / movement within the case would be an easier & neater task to achieve the same result.

Thought that it might have been just me, but I'd love the white dial with the navy dial bezel.

Really nice addition to the range

I was surprised at the dollar prices Watch Chris quoted. They seemed a bit high compared with the prices mentioned in the oracle time text article.

I just tried to see sterling and dollar prices on any watch, but I don't think I can do that on the mobile site.

^^^^Depends on what option you go with. Note: I haven't watched the WatchChris review yet.

Aquaflex - £995, $1195
Bader - £1150, $1380
Consort - £1185, $1420

Could it be the SW330 which is a more expensive movement. Doesn't the Sealander GMT use the SW220?

^^^Nope. They are all SW330s.

I did notice when looking at the Super Compressor Elite that it appears Sellita's pricing has gone up quite a bit in the last year.

Quoting myself from the Super Compressor thread:
Movement:

The SW300 COSC is a really big step up from the original SW200. I think that to get the Elite moniker it needed to go here. This movement does not come cheap and even more so in the last year or so. When I last looked the standard SW300 was $300-350 at retail. I looked a couple of months ago and they are now running $400 at retail. Taking a conservative 30% markup (supplier markups are very different from finished goods retail markup) that leaves wholesale at $310. Add $50 for COSC. Then take CWs 3x markup and we are talking $1080 for the movement alone. There has been a sharp increase in component prices across the board in the last 12 months or so. I don't know if it is a result of consolidation of manufacturers or possibly fewer suppliers making it through covid unscathed but it is definitely happening.
Pricing on the SW330-2 is hard to come by. Cousins has them for £395 ($508). I saw a couple of eBay listings for $350 US. These are obviously not what CW is paying but they are considerably higher than a year ago for the same offerings.

No, I didn't mean that. I meant WatchChris quoted dollar prices for the new watch, and Oracle Time quoted Sterling. Now the UK prices include VAT/sales tax at 20%, so the dollar equivalents should be based on a lower starting point. ie the dollar equivalent of a VAT exclusive price.

Eg oracle time said £1185 on consort as the dearest price, which £987.50 exclusive of VAT. WatchChris said $1420 for the consort bracelet (pricing just after 7:00. I watched the YT first, so I was quite surprised that $1420 became only £1185.

I was trying to check the uplift on any other watch to see how different the 2 prices were, but I was using the UK website, and I couldn't see an option to select dollar currency.

You select your transaction currency with the dropdown at the bottom of the page. Once that's selected pricing will be set accordingly, but during checkout if your shipping destination is outside the UK VAT will be deducted and duty and taxes are shown in your cart (at least for US destinations.) Need to keep in mind whether your payment method assesses any international conversion fees to determine your actual cost.

^^^They might be including import duty on these. All of the prices are 14% over what the the UK price is minus VAT converted to dollars. Don't know. If not it would definitely be beneficial to US buyers to buy in pounds.

EDIT: After looking at it they are probably just hedging currency fluctuations. I put a 39mm Selander GMT on Bader in my cart (US dollars). With import duty the total is $1385. The same watch added to my cart but purchased in Pounds is £962 including import duty. That would be $1239 at today's conversion. So if you have method of paying with 0% conversion fees you can save a decent chunk paying in Pounds.

Import duties are added in the cart so they are not part of he MSRP/RRP.
They might be adding a buffer to the USA pricing to deal with currency fluctuations.

For USA buyers, in the past I have found American Express to give better dollar conversions to other currencies than MC/VISA.

We crossed in the interwebs as I was editing my post. Adding in import duty at checkout is relatively new for CW so it is not out of the realm that they would just start adding it in to US pricing. But I came to the same conclusion that it is a hedge.

Thanks for all your thoughts. I saw the dollar prices, and thought the UK prices would be a little high, and was quite surprised the least expensive option was under£1000..
