It looks like it’s possibly built on a Salesforce/Demandware B2C ecommerce platform that’s been skinned with a CW shopfront. Would also seem to be a work-in-progress as there appears to be a few holes in it and probably some default libraries/graphics being used; maybe left over from a previous implementation using the same template? :problem:

FYI it’s being hosted in the USA with the CW domain resolving to Cloudfare somewhere in the Midwest. Ends up at two IP addresses which are probably load balanced virtual servers which would explain the dramatically improved performance

I have finally managed to register after numerous attempts. It may be a coincidence but, when I tried a new password with lower case letters, numbers and special characters, the attempt failed. However, as soon as I used two upper case letters in the same password my attempt was successful.

I thought I'd posted yesterday that my password, which contains lower & upper case letters, numerals and a symbol worked 1st time out.

Maybe I didn't; apologies.

Mind you they didnt even announce that a new Website was coming ....

. . . . . . . .

CW has this afternoon sent out a "Time to explore the new Christopher Ward Website" email.

I consider that announcement enough, for any non-forum / CWE Group customers, who perhaps had no idea that a new website was on the cards.

Guy,

I believe you did but it seems I missed it in my rush to re-register. My previous password was a mix of lower case letters, numbers and special characters so I had no reason to believe I would need to use upper case characters this time around. All good now.

Not sure that mitigates for all the issues that people have encountered.

I wasn't suggesting it would.

Merely that it responded to your insistance that they should 'announce' the new website.

Looks like we differ ... there was no 'insistance' on my part, just a comment that launching a new website hadnt been announced - especially with no information about the structure of Passwords needed ... as evidenced by multiple posts on the subject.

Lets leave it there ....

audio.bill wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2020 4:09 pm When viewing a list of watches or a specific model's product page there is no indication of stock or pre-order status like there used to be. Only once you place an item in your cart do you then see if an item is unavailable with an expected availability date displayed. I think that info should be displayed whenever an item is shown in a list and on its product page without having to place it in your cart.
This has been corrected, stock status is now being shown on an item's product page before you add to cart as well as in the cart. Nice job!

You are not alone. I don’t get the reset email either. I can’t even look up current order using the order number, email and zip.
Same here. Tried 3 times, checked inbox, spam and all folders.... Nothing :(

After trying the new site for a week or so, I like it.
Very responsive and great features and even shows you past purchases with photos.
