Quartz, no one saw that coming……..
HAQ at that!
A great move- there's a lot to be said for a no-nonsense grab and go quartz. I've love to see a return to quartz for some of the three-hander's too and a HAQ movement would be brilliant.

I think it looks fab, great specs too for that price point. Ultimately I don’t think it’s for me, as it’s not what I’m looking for right now. I would imagine it might appeal to many however.

sort of a c3 chronograph mk iii?
It was always going to be quartz and I think it is a nice design but how many times can CW say this is our last quartz ever?
Personally I think it is good that they have a quartz option again and a highly accurate one at that. I am totally over any mechanical snobbery nowdays.
A great looking watch and great value too. Im not really into chronograph watches so I'll admire from afar. I'm very interested in the story behind the watch though. After MFs comments only three years ago I wonder what's changed? I think these are the movements from ETA that Certina use in their precidrive range. Possibly other swatch group watches have them? Did CW find some in a box under a desk??!! Or did they strike a deal to buy some purely to reintroduce quartz? Or did a mysterious Swiss businessman pay MF in old quartz movements .... who knows ??
