Absolutely agree. I think CW keep getting the colours wrong with these new releases. Such a shame, as I would like a CW back in my collection. The reds are all a bit too pinky, the blue C60 is too bright for me (prefer navy) and that's why I flipped mine. The green C60 again is just too light a green. Perhaps I'm boring but I do prefer darker hues.

I too would have liked a white faced C60/C61 with a black bezel. But I can't see that happening. Still hoping to see an auto version of the C3 chrono in 2014. Perhaps that'll be my next CW...

No confirmation yet, but my thinking is that this is a new model and will start with new serial numbers.

As the C60's are variations they will probably continue with the current series.

Oh good. I thought that 9mm sounded a bit thin for that case, and I do like a chunky watch! unlike many of you "dress watch" fans (whatever a dress watch might be!)

There must be a precedent.... ie, what's the thickness of other models using that case?

My records show the current C9 auto (now former) at 11.4mm. Even though the website shows 8.5mm, this is also the same for the C20 which uses the same 2836 ETA movement as the new C9 BD.

I am suspecting an error and will notify the boss.

Not great to have an error on a featured new model.

Agreed, but the error has has been on the C20 for quite awhile, I suspect, and gone unnoticed until now, including by me. I will endeavor to get them corrected.

I am hoping it causes no serious issues for anyone. :)

i think they were kind of boxed in on the red and blue models by the FLEs. not sure that explains the green, though, which I agree would have been nicer if it was a bit more subdued.

On the topic of colours, unless your screen has been properly calibrated, they are hugely variable.

while this is true, i have a suspicion, based off of how the blue came out and what the red on other CWLs looks like, that we're not far off the mark.

From the day that I got my JAG, I was never really 100% in love with the color. It's okay, but I think CW and I just disagree with how dark / saturated you need to make these dials. One can probably use "matter of taste" as a defense, but on some level, I think you'd find that it's better to err on the side of there being a little too much contrast rather than the risk of a washed out look. If the C60 Red is even more light than the JAG, then I'm definitely not going to be a fan.

They don't say it is. They say it is a Big Day-Date watch. And looking at the picture they both certainly look big considering the C9 is 43mm.

Just noticed reading through the C9 bdd info on the website they merely state butterfly clasp rather than mentioning the bader deployment as per magazine article. A simple oversight and over enthusiastic copy and paste error I hope.

Could you try for a big date in the new C9 please?
