Re: New C1 Moonglow in Celestial Blue

It has arrived and is a lovely looking watch but I think it has an issue as the date doesn’t change when I set the time or when I’ve moved the time to 1155 and waited for it to pass 12. I’ve done this a few times to check it not midday rather than midnight etc.

The date moves fine when setting manually but doesn’t appear to change automatically with the time.

Guessing / checking this isn’t normal before I send it back?

@foxes1884

Email Customer Services and explain the problem. It sounds as though you have tried to set the date in the correct manner, unless…

The other question is: have you tried to set the date with the hands between around 8 pm and 2 am?

No, I tried to set the time first and was looking to check if morning or afternoon. When it didn’t change after a few goes round I set to 5 to be safe and tried setting the date which worked fine. I then tried again move the time round with no results so set to 1155 and waited etc.

I’ll email customer services just wanted to check with those that have that this isn’t normal.

Thanks

It sounds as though you’re doing it right. Definitely one to raise with CS.

I’ve got that email today too saying it will be delivered early April.
Have you heard anything yet?
I'm going to email them again on Monday if no update.
I got an Order Despatch email on Friday and it’s due for delivery tomorrow.
I’d guess they are working through the “last” batch so I’d give it a couple of days.
There's no change to my status. No communication from them.
I obviously won't be getting the watch early April ...
I just can't believe how frustrating of an experience this is..
This can't be acceptable. Surely I'm not the only one who feels this is inappropriate.
I've emailed again. But really this is unacceptable.
Kind Regards
John

Update. Now they have mentioned another 5 business day delay before the watch gets dispatched. Going to be around 17th of April. Then another 3 business days to get delivered to Australia bring it in the realm of April 22 before I get it. Again this won't have been indicated without me emailing and the goal posts keep moving. Not a great first experience with buying CW.
Kind Regards
John

This is unbelievable... It's gone back to pre order status...
I don't have anymore words.
I called them and they didn't even answer the phone call..
I'm just not sure what to do anymore. $3700 aud sitting with them and no sign of my watch.

Matthew Thomas is apparently head of customer services. I'd email him with what's happened here. If it was me I'd copy in Mike France too

(I've tried to figure out how such a small batch of watches ends up being processed strung out over such an extended period of time, but I can't figure it out... )

I'll be enjoying my Moonglow more once everyone else has theirs

Thanks to the both of you.
I hope this option will address the problem.
Really appreciate all of your support with this.
@missF please don't let affect your feelings towards your watch. I promise once I receive it it will be treated with extra care after the journey I have been going through to receive it .
