New Buy

Post by grahamH »

I said to the wife "There's a nice CW on Ebay, new last December". She had a look and said "Buy it".
After I came round,I remembered the 20% off promo.
The C5 Malvern on Ebay,is almost the same price as the weekend offer price.
Next thing I know,SWMO,said "Buy it then".
So I have...

C5 Malvern Automatic - Galvanic Dial

Hope I like it.
1xCW,4xOmega,1xBWC.

Galvanic dial is the metallic sunburst effect dial that the new C5's have. The original dials were 2 piece etched dials that had depth to them with a flat outer ring & a ribbed 'guilloche' inner circle. Personally I'm not keen on the galvanic as I think it spoils this iconic watch - but that's just me as lots of others seem to like them.

I am getting a distinct sense of deja vu here. Yet another wife condoning the purchase of shiny ticking things? Is that possible? Or could it be there is a big sale of jimmy choos going on somewhere that we need to know about?

Excellent choice. Looking forward to pictures. Of the watch, that is. 8)

You can see the galvanic dial on the C50 next to a C5 in this thread.
