Sorry for the old thread resurrection but there are nine teams confirmed now (out of 10) for the new Formula E series.
Still waiting on the CW sponsored Bluebird entry?

Bamboo Enginering seem to have been assisting Bluebird with the development of a 2014 car, I see CWL remains a sponsor. http://gp3.bamboo-engineering.com/news/ ... ype-bamboo

I was aware of that, I'm thinking the project has been shelved.

"The inaugural season will see 10 teams, each with two drivers, competing in the 2014/2015 FIA Formula E Championship. Seven teams, coming from a variety of top, global championships, have already been announced (see below) with the remaining four outfits to be revealed by the end of 2013...."

That's not any old team, that's Alain Prost's team!

Just an update for any that are interested.
The formula e car was unveiled and demonstrated at CES this week in Las Vegas.
Still no word on CW involvement, check out the prominent Tag logo.

CWL involvement is based on whatever schedule the Bluebird team decides.

The Series is supposed to be 20 cars and 10 teams as far as I know, so there is still plenty of time for an annoucement.

I still hope they enter this series. They were planning on it according to their website.

I had thought all ten teams had been announced with Leonardo DiCaprio's Venturi being the last.
The two English teams are Drayson (electric speed record holders) and Virgin.

Either way it will be interesting to see if it takes off.

It does appear that all spots are filled Nick. I have no idea what happen with the Bluebird team. :?

The series should be interesting anyway.
