I think it’s quite poor form of CW to release LE watches only to follow them up with what is the same watch, just a different color way. It should more properly and explicitly be labeled an LE color, not an LE watch.

Not that it matters, as I hope most of us bought them to wear and keep.
I agree, buy to keep.

So I went to buy a watch, and the man in the shop said "Analogue." I said "No, just a watch."

Exactly... I would only sell mine if I absolutely needed the money, but there are plenty of things I'd sell before getting to this!

I got that message, which surprised me too. I was just trying to get a bigger picture.

I am glad that I have the blue arriving. :)

I don’t like any of the four new colours.

I love the purple, uh sorry Viola, one, just put down the deposit for one.

I don't see any "poor form" with limited editions being only different in colour, it's the same with C63 Sealanders.

I agree Andrew. It is a significant investment for us mere mortals to buy what we think is a 1 of 300 limited edition only to discover a short time later you could get the same watch in a different dial color if you had just waited a while. Not to mention you might have preferred one of the later color ways over the blue dial you rushed to buy before it sold out. They could have easily advertised the blue as a limited color of 300 instead of a limited edition watch so potential customers would know there are more colors coming.

Quite clearly the original intention was a few colours (2-4), with each being 300 pieces. But the huge success of Bel Canto made them see short term profits being left on the table, hence the decision (as MF effectively said on video), to chase the "money" and fulfil all demand.

I don't recall it being made quite clear their intention was to do a few colors when they initially released the blue limited edition. Where did you see that statement in their advertising? I seem to recall people being quite surprised when they almost immediately released the green dial after the blue dial sold out.

Am I the only one thinking "Quality Street wrapper colours"? Quality watch, quality street?
I'll try again in daylight but the love is not yet upon me.
