Good spot! I’ve been waiting for a racing chrono with team Brit’s colors. I’m hoping that’s it!

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Thanks Guy that really helpful as I know our wrist proportions are similar. Especially the 1st pic with similar bezel design to the Atol. You have not helped my resistance much though, esp with 60/60Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:33 pmHere you go Stephen.Soporsche wrote:Does anyone with a 7.5 inch wrist have a wrist pic of a 40mm C60?

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Just looking at this (SO tempted!), is it a C60 Sapphire with a 6 o'clock date, fume dial at 65% of the price?? (damn it's gorgeous!)

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
^^^^ What are you waiting for, Stephen?

Seeing as I have recently sold both my C60 Sapphires (Blue and Orange) plus learnt yesterday that I am expecting a small windfall cheque in the next few weeks, my order is in; for the C60 Atoll that is, on bracelet naturally.
A few more pics for you;-

. . .and back to the C60 Blue Marine for comparison of a ceramic bezel which generally wears a tad larger (or is it the steel bezel that wears smaller?).

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
I'm just conscious of my last smaller CW (steel bezel c65 gmt) that I quickly sold to a very nice gentleman on the forum due to feeling looked a bit small

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
It's definitely a bit of a bargain although the price comparison should be against a C60 Sapphire @40mm because it uses the same bezel. I do like it a lot though especially on the bracelet.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:29 pmThat's the price comparison, or thereabouts, I did, Tim.timor54 wrote:A preview of the C60 Mk 3.5 release?
And £615 on a bracelet vs. £915 for the equivalent existing C60. That gives you some idea of the margins involved; assuming that they’re getting a sensible return on these and they’re not just clearing out some excess parts stock
Amazing value and a great summer watch. A bit like the C65 DiveTimer from last year that I bought.![]()

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Ah yes; I remember that.

I think the difference is the C65 case whilst a tad larger (41mm vs 40mm) has a slimmer, more svelte profile, whereas the C60 has a taller, chunkier feel.
I was very happy with my two C60 Sapphires and only sold them for fund raising, but have kept my C60 Blue Marine.
Since then, as mentioned, I have a windfall payment incoming (payout from the VW Emissions Group Action) that will cover the Atoll (and more).

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Lying on bed in Sorrento hotel room after a day out, contemplating the Atoll.
Only downside is that I’ve negotiated a deal with a Forum member to complete next week on my return. I’ll expand at a later date. Can I afford 2??
Possibly, but next weeks is the priority.
Anyway, premium bond results tomorrow

That Atoll on bracelet is so tempting, it looks great for a summer watch.
By the way! Wearing my C60 Mk3 this week (red bezel/black dial). A guy in a bar asked if that was a CW, only my 2nd recognition while out and about.

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Agree re the chunkiness of the case possibly making a difference Guy.
I foolishly missed the deadline on the VW emmisions (from my VRS). My friend has just had his payment confirmation

Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Lovely dial not spoiled by the date wheel being the wrong colour, had they not stuck a dive bezel on it I'd have bought it already.
Re: New Atoll Special Edition
Nice watch, personally never bought a watch that isn’t COSC or similar, how accurately do these normally run? don’t really like that it could be +\- 20 seconds per day
Re: New Atoll Special Edition
My Sealander with the same moment is +1 SPD so it’s possible it’s far more accurate than officially spec’d. Most of my Selittas run within +10 SPD which is good for the movement being non COSC.

I really like the looks of this one. I think to the casual observer it would be too close to my Super Compressor. Not sure I could get this one past the accountant.
