I've bought a couple of NN's and they were immaculate.

It looks like a hit and miss, but I think this is part and parcel with NN as you are saving 30%.

So to get a NN watch from CW do you have to give them a bell as I don't see it on their website advertised?

you need to wait for a NN sale - they usually run along-side general sales, and are always announced on the forum

To add simply to the general experience - I've bought four or five NNs. I would never have known they weren't brand new, except with a couple the plastic protectors weren't stuck fast like a new application but had clearly been lifted and then re-applied. This concerned me not a jot.

They last longer if you just wear them.

Not true.

I've bought a couple of NNs which had marks/blemishes.

I've also had about six which looked as new.

If NN watches have scratches maybe it's because they are handled, taking off boxes, tried then put again in the boxes and shipped back.
But if someone worn them CW not accept 60/60 return warranty. That said: "If for any reason you’re not happy with your watch, you have up to 60 days to return it, in box-fresh condition, free of charge and receive a replacement or full refund by return with no quibbles".

But, yes, often handling watches means to make light scratches, so CW resell those at discount price as Nearly New. CW not sell them as New...

Speaking of NN watches here at CW, what is the way to know about existence of certain model as NN watch, and what is the way to order it ?

I wouldn't mind some light "defects" as long as I get certain watch at discount price.

Let me be precise:
Is NN sale announced on CW site officially, is it announced here at forums, or is it announced by some other means ?
Thanks !

If it isn't officially announced by CW, then by visiting here you'll find out about 10 mins after CW announcement :D

One point to mention is that, when buying a NN watch from CWL they issue a fresh Owner's Manual with the Certificate of Authenticity duly completed in the back with the date of the NN purchase; to give a five year warranty from then (not the original date of sale as a new watch).

Additionally, the model number is prefixed with NN, so that, in the event of a return for refund, it is patently clear how much refund is to be paid.

That is good news you still get the full 60 day return on NN watches.
