May I suggest a c60gmt to ease the passage of time until you are allowed to open the c60. I assume that the ever vigilant Mrs Steve is keeping her eyes on your cosc?bspj wrote:Tee heeeeee!Berkshire wrote:Opens up a whole new thread.Pat172 wrote:Now, onto the next step!

Congratulations. I just know that I couldn't last out until Christmas with a C60 waiting for me.

Last seen lurking in my dressing room, checking the contents of the egregiously expensive winder, then nodding with approval as she saw the COSC top right......smegwina wrote: I assume that the ever vigilant Mrs Steve is keeping her eyes on your cosc?
In truth, it remains unwearable. The chap who adjusted the strap was a tad too conservative, so it needs to go back for another link removal. Of course then it needs to be worn domestically just to check, before it is put away for Christmas. Mrs S will pay the postage to the N Pole, but I am concerned about soot on the return journey,
Because I am idle, this process might take ages.

Something tells me that the conservative bracelet adjustment was not an error, but that the present Mrs Steve may have had a quiet word to ensure non wearability. I fear that you sir have been nobbled!bspj wrote:Last seen lurking in my dressing room, checking the contents of the egregiously expensive winder, then nodding with approval as she saw the COSC top right......smegwina wrote: I assume that the ever vigilant Mrs Steve is keeping her eyes on your cosc?

Loving the winder checks to ensure compliance.

It is hard to get the bracelet sizing right though I find but I think I'm there now on mine.
Good excuse for more time with it though Steve

Re: Nearly New C60......you are joking!
After the second attempt, the watch bracelet has been sized correctly.
I feel obliged to wear this now for a few days (just around the house, of course ) just in order to check the COSC rating against my radio clock because the 60 day return would expire before the watch comes down the chimney in December.
I DID say I was working on it!
