I wear NATOs on quite a few of my watches. They're comfortable and rugged.
But yes, they should be £20 cheaper than a decent leather strap and I'd prefer to buy a watch on a bracelet and buy straps, especially NATOs, afterwards.

I think that military watches look great on a Nato:

This also goes well with my suit. I have a Traser on one too. Certainly helps when doing milsim (my hobby >>) and I need to wear the watch over gloves.
