Thanks guys. I'm very tempted by both the C60 Trident NATO and the C8 Aviator vintage for my next one 8)

Still getting alot of pleasure from this watch :D

I don't wear it a great deal as to me it's very special (I know some of you auto guys won't agree, but the rarity and subject make it special for me, on top of it being a stunning watch), but I wore it at a meeting a couple of weeks ago and it got a very positive reaction.

Sorry for my ignorance. I've not seen this on before. Is it a limited edition C4?
Cheers,
Andrew

Hi, yes it a C4 Peregrine Battle of Britain Memorial Flight special edition. 100 were made, exclusively for the BBMF squadron and the remainder sold on. I was very lucky to pick this up when I did, they very rarely come up for sale.

Having watched the BBMF fly past over Windsor this weekend makes me feel especially lucky to have this stunning watch 8)

Yes. CWL have made special additions for certain squadrons etc. If they don't all sell to the squadron then the last few usually go up for sale. You can see the editions in the Archives (button at top just under Search. Here is the link to the forces watches - http://www.christopherwardforum.com/arc ... php?cat=17

There is a page on the web site for commissioned watches.

Impressive. So that's what it was. I was on my way to Wembley yesterday (don't ask), stuck in traffic near Watford Junction and saw the Lancaster and Spitfires and the Red Arrows. Certainly lucky as that isn't something you expect to see every day!
Cheers,
Andrew
