Afraid I'm out of suggestions then. Unless someone else can come up with anything, I think it may have to go back for a fix.

Unfortunately a return to CWL would seem in order.

Contact Deb at deborah.senior@christopherward.co.uk and she will arrange it.

I have been admiring the black face with black leather strap C7 Rapide. I don't own any white face dials. Your pics look great but I don't think the white would suit me.

My wrists are a measly 16.5cm (worse than girls) and I noticed you said yours were 17.5cm. How does it sit/feel? I have a C8 pilot which is 44mm but only 9.7mm in height making it quite a slim watch. The C7 Rapide is 42mm but thicker at 10.7mm. Concerned it may look chunky on my wrist...

This watch would really scratch my itch for a Tag Carrera

Sorry for the delay in replying..

The watch feels just right. If anything it's a bit small to what I'm used to considering I've been used to wearing 50mm watches such as TW Steels!

I think you'll be fine with it, it will definitely be worth buying it and seeing if it works for you.

And.. I had the same itch for a Carrera which is why I fell for the C7s! :)

Yep thats the strap , I had one on the Blue C7, its a super strap, very soft too.
Any chance you can post some pics with this strap on your C7? Very interested to see how it looks on the watch..

Are there any new CW watches that are perfect (as, for the money we pay, should be)?

Sure there are. I have plenty of them. :D

Despite some recent issues, I am certain there are whole lot more as well.

I'm not too fussed to be honest. As long as I get a watch that works perfectly I'm willing to wait :)

Any news from CW yet as to whether this can be resolved seems mine has the same problem. :(

Any news that murtz gets will not help you. You need to contact Customer Services directly. It will be resolved.

CW received my watch on Wednesday. They posted out a new replacement today which I'll get tomorrow before 1pm. Over the moon at how fast all of this was dealt. The fact that they didn't bother sending me a repaired version and just sent me a new one is the icing :)
