Evening all,

To put an upper on this thread, we have recently moved house and my C40 resurfaced! Woohoo!

Very very happy :) Poor girl at the insurance company didn't quite know what to suggest though when I told her just now (they paid out and I wouldn't feel right wearing it when technically it belongs to them) so I am to call back in the morning when anti-claims are open :)

Ah my old friend, how I have missed thee! Happy days :)

Don't tell me it was in a pile of clothes at the bottom of your bed which you had discarded in a moment of passion with your girlfriend. (Apparently this has happened before to someone........... )

Glad to hear it turned up and encouraged by your honestly re insurance.

Quite unusual for a watch to be found at the bottom of the bed,
usually they are found behind a sofa in Maidenhead.

Thanks guys, very happy!! I have an urge to put it on a different strap now, we shall see how that experimentation goes! Tried before with the Becketts leather strap and it looked good but not quite as suited to that as the bracelet. Should satisfy my urge for a while in any case though :-)

If I were your insurance company I would tell you to keep it because of your honesty ;)
