I haven't been following the exchange rates, but is it now cheaper for us to order from the US site? The non-EC price on the UK site is 223 GBP, which according to Google is 362 USD. But the US site lists the watch for 336 USD. I think in the recent past it was always a few bucks cheaper to order from the UK site.
It does look that way at the moment doesn't it. That, plus no credit card foreign exchange fees. 8)

Actually, pretty much all banks now a days are charging a "foreign transaction fee" instead of exchange fees.... Basically they charge you the same 1/2% (depending on bank) that they would charge if it was in a foreign currency because its going to a foreign merchant. IMO another way to steal my money, those ****! ohwell, 2% of 361(shipping incl) is about 7 bucks, so no biggie....

A really good friend of mine back in the UK birthday is coming up and I'm thinking of getting him one of the currently on sale watches.

He's worn the same Nixon 'The banks' watch with a square orance face with brown leather strap for over a decade. I'm seriously considering the beige C8, but can't figure out the cheapest way of getting it or which one... And if wrist size will be an issue...

Ideas or a push?

The Mark 1 is a beauty. FR nicer than even the best photos on here led me to believe. Strap is very long and I had to get 3 extra holes punch to fit my skinny wrist. Classy piece and great for anyone whose eyesight is no longer perfect. Image

Just ordered my Beige MK1...only concern is having to put holes in the strap, but hoping that as my wrist is around 18cm it should just fit...

and that picture looks gorgeous! can't wait to get mine!

Don't worry about extra holes, the clasp covers them any way. Currently getting lots of wrist time. Enjoy!
