Moonphase - only a Dresswatch?

Post by eric72 »

Just wondering as I might buy one...is it a pure dresser? I rarely wear suit, more jeans and shirt. So would it suit me still? I would use bracelet, not leather. IMHO it is not thin enough for a pure dresser. So what do you think?

I think the only view on this that matters is yours. Is it a watch that you think you will feel comfortable wearing with shirt and jeans? If yes, then give it a go. :)

I second that. iMHO it is a little fancier so anytime you are not completely dressed down it would work.

I have the Blue Moonphase and it's fine with a shirt, t-shirt and jeans or whatever it's such a versatile watch.

I agree with nbg on this one. Buying a watch to wear is a personal decision and many factors will influence your choice albeit some of them unconscious. If you like it, would wear it and would enjoy owning it then why not? Of course, whether you can afford it or not is another question altogether.

It's a watch. Wear it with whatever you feel like. Enjoy. :D

I think you can pull it off as more casual, especially if you are swapping the leather for the bracelet.

Pick your watch first.......then your clothes. If it feels good, go with it. :)

If in doubt buy a cheapie from EBay and if you don't like it give it as a Christmas present for the window cleaner chimney sweep or whomever!

Dress watch is only a state of mind. If you wear it casually, then that's what it is.
