Hi

Out of interest - how much did you pay for the PVD to be removed from the case?

I have been considering getting my C600 PVD stripped back you see.

I note that Motor City Works are in the US. Did you post out from UK or are you over the pond?

I’ve had a couple of C600s done too, see below. If you email Jay he’ll give you a price. I’m in the UK so just wrapped up the watch head (and bracelet in one case) and sent them in as flat a box as possible. Each way the customs declaration was for ‘repair’. Each time the process has been smooth and pleasant, if not quick. As for price, the C600 will be more than the C8 due to the greater complexity of the case. I hope this helps.

So you sent the whole watch head and not just the case with everything removed?

Sent the whole watch. Jay was able to take apart what needed done and re-assemble. He even changed a damaged gasket on one watch for me.

Good to know, thanks.
I found somebody else prepared to do the work, but they insisted on just the case, no doubt to save them any unforeseen hassles!.

I recall seeing your modded C600's in a previous post.
They look great, but I prefer the blue once the PVD has been removed. I have the yellow C600. Hmm, maybe a blue on might be on my wish list for 23🤣👍
