Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
The C60 Abyss SH21 is no more but in its place: C60 Shadow Special Edition

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
It popped up maybe a couple hours ago and has gotten minimal chatter.
It's a looker! Basically the Abyss SH21 with a solid dial I think? And new logo. I prefer this one
It says "Special" edition, not Limited. It doesn't say anywhere if the numbers are limited. Maybe they're testing the waters before announcing a quantity? To me, special edition doesn't indicate it's an open release.

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
No idea as to how special this SE is but it looks interesting. Perhaps a watch variant to move stock of parts on hand? It seems the Abyss SH21 may have been a hard sell even as it was intriguing with its sapphire dial. With the Shadow and its grey dial fronting the SH21 movement it appear much easier to read the time. And I love the small seconds and power reserve display layout of the dial.

It does look interesting. More interesting than the current sale

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
I like the look of that.
I much prefer to the Abyss.
Hopefully once CW have checked the website copy, they will correct the dial colour description and the strap options.
I would be tempted if I had already put money aside for something else.

There's some interesting observations being made. I haven't noticed half of the "novelties" other forumites have advised, and they certainly seem to have vanished very quickly.

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
My understanding is that this is a very low number release. Less the one heading my way

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
Well for my skinny wrist it's a size too big in terms of dia and L2L. And 16mm thick is quite a bit.
But otherwise I like it a lot. For someone else.

Re: Lost in the Shadow of the Sale?
I’d not noticed this watch until someone posted a link in the sales thread. It’s a bit rich for me at the moment as I’ve just ordered a FLE and curated a second watch for the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club. This looks like it will have to wait, so I’m likely to miss out. I’m not a huge fan of sapphire dials so haven’t bought an SH21 Abyss, but this is absolutely stunning.

OK, I still like the Shadow, but ignore the rest of the above post.

Seems you need a new signature

Can't blame you though, it's a great looking watch!

^^maybe it's the light in your room but the watch overall doesn't look as dark as I was expecting.

Lighting is brighter than daylight LEDs in my kitchen.
The watch is not particularly dark though.
