Also say this could be the last time they offer 15% discount outside the Jan/July sales.

Un-identical twins

My C65 sandstorm chronometer became, over a relatively short period of time, my favourite ever watch, and mostly daily wear. Which is surprising because I didn’t know what I thought about it before I ordered it, and only ordered it because the marketing pics were so confusing I really just wanted to see it for myself.

Then the ‘same watch, different colour’ thread came along and got me thinking. The C65 light catcher case in 38mm is just the dog’s b****x and I love the sandstorm dial, so why not opt for all the same things I love in the sandstorm but in a different style and colourways?? It should be a safe bet for a long term enjoyable watch..,

I spoke with Ryan StrappedUp (who is the consolidation-meister!). I was supposed to be consolidating then bowing out. He gave me great advice which I clearly ignored!

So here is the sandstorm‘S non-identical twin, and I love it. Seems to wear smaller than the sandstorm but has great wrist presence. The date circle is far clearer than on the sandstorm and that’s very positive.

I’m really glad I was curious enough to take a look at the sandstorm- and then at the blackout. They haven’t sold quickly for very limited editions but once they’re on the wrist they really stand out.

Congratulations Lindsey ! 8)
It's amazing how a different colourway has changed the watch hugely.
The Blackout is my favourite out of the two.

Great complimentary pair, congrats Lindsey. The blackout looks really good on your wrist shot, much better than on the CW site, it has real presence.

^^^ Agreed, the blackout was always my least favorite of the two, but I think your pics have flipped that. They’re both great though!

Does this count...I ordered it a week before black Friday using the £100 promo code, but CW honoured the additional discount when I contacted them..it's just been delivered..First impressions are that it's gorgeous...

As always watches look so much better in the metal, or in this case injected-carbon :D
