KINGFISHER STRAP. HELP PLEASE!

Post by dcuthbertson »

HI everybody. I am new to the forum and this is my first post.
I purchased my first CW in the January sale. It was a Black faced Kingfisher, and what a beautiful watch. My only minor issue is the silicone strap, which i dont find the most comfortable sometimes.

Can anyone reccomend a different strap, and if possible show a photo of what it looks like. I dont have the greatest imagination and need to see what it would look like.

I am a fan of the NATO strap, but am open to all suggestions.

Many Thanks, Duncan

Hi Duncan
Go into the strap section of the forum and look for the post " a few Maratacs" that is a type of strap that goes well with the Kinkfisher. There's lots of pictures, and if you like them you can pick them up easy enough, just type in Maratac strap in Google or the Bay.

I also found the silicon strap uncomfortable - I now have both of my C6s on the old style stainless steel bracelet and am really happy with them.

Thanks everyone. It is much appreciated.
I also have my eye on a trident, but that will be on a nato.
Cheers, Duncan
