Bezels put me in the mind of ExplorerII. Love them.
If only they were in man-colours!
Oh stop it please. Your really teasing me now. A white dial with those bezels is ( and I have to say it ) getting me wet lol. In fact a full lume dial like an Oris T series and the hands with Tritium Tubes would just seriously kick ass. In fact that could have been the fabled "Kraken" once mooted around these shores.

In the time I have followed CWL has been interesting. Although I of course like many of his watches there are others that are "nearly" there but not quite. That W6 just sooooo could have been a great Gents Diver with a decent auto thrown in because the bezel, dial style and the hands just work for me.

Im going to start calling Chris "The Almost But Not Quite Man" lol.

Well excuse my amatuerish photoshop efforts. However I dont know about you lot but I would have happily stuck something like this on my wrist. Missed opportunity there for Chris I reckon but I suppose there is nothing stopping him doing Gent's versions in the future. Maybe a unisex angle as suggested before on the Splash theme might work ie Him and Her versions.

Sorry Kip. What is MOP?

I know but its a nice ball game lol. I must admit I have a thing for traditional looking divers right now. I so want an Ollech & Wajs M4 or M5 for instance but nobody sells them anymore. Same with the Grovana Coral Reef's etc. It annoys me I was not into watches in a big way a few years ago as there are so many I would have bought but now cannot. I feel as though I missed the glory years of watch buying because much of the modern designs just do not do it for me lol.

No Kip. Its not Mother of Pearl. Its just a generic black dial. I know what I really would like though. An all lume one lol. I think the Oris TT1 for instance looks stunning in this combo.

Actually something like this would make a good LE Monkey but I would rather it was not. Why ??? Because if something similar went on general release in different combos then I could buy more than one.

I know Yoda. That has run through my mind too. The more I think about it I wish Chris had given this design to the boys. You could have fun with it as it has all the elements for a classic diver. Okay the bezel design is hardly unique but the dial and the hands are. It would also be a cracker if it was a day date auto. People just like the Sub design and there is a possibilty for a GMT version too. Im convinced there is a market for this especially in Europe where Stienhart's and even the Seiko's SKX's are so hard to come by. A traditional diver in the price bracket of the common man surely has to be a winner or am I totally wrong with this? Im sure I would buy more than one to get different combo's ie Pepsi, Red, Black etc.

Terminator 2 could you (please if you have time) mock up a green non MOP dial with green bezel, auto movement and a chunky leather strap?

I think this would look great, it wouldn't look like anything else on the market (please correct me if i am wrong and I will go a buy it).

Just for you Andy. However you will have to use your imagination re the strap. I can do it but its a lot of work but the watch itself is the important thing.

Okay heres some new pics. The first one is for Andy. Im not sure I like it. A bit to much green and not enough contrast between the dial but I am sure Andy and Glasgow Cetic fans will love it lol.

Yoda go on and admit it. Do those Pepsi's look sweet or what? I would have one on each wrist lol.

And now Ladies and Gentlemen. May I now present you with

The C6 Mk II

Enjoy everyone
