Still being "packed and ready to go" - its been 12 days now since this message appeared on my tracking page and the money appears to have been taken off my credit card on Sept 18th. No replies to my Email. I will ring CW next week, but I'm falling out of love with the company. All I want is some accurate information. Anyone else getting fed up or does love conquer all? :( :( :(

I thought forum members who have ordered this watch should know the results of a phone conversation I have had with the CW Call Centre. After CW not replying to 2 of my Emails, I rang up and was told that the call centre had just received an Email from Christopher to say that the watches being held up at the despatch centre would finally be despatched on October 4th. The hold up being due to the change of specification. This is at last good news, but may I please suggest Hans, that during your question and answer session, it is pointed out to Christopher that the lack of communication is damaging his company. I ordered a book from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, which was due to be despatched on Oct 1st. I have received an apology to say that delivery has not been received at Amazon and the due date is now October 20th. They also say they will Email me with further news nearer the time plus despatch confirmation. If Amazon can do it, so can Christopher Ward. Maybe, in all seriousness, he needs to take some training in Direct Marketing and fulfilment procedures and put this training into practice. I say this out of concern for the future of his company and as a Direct Marketing expert with many years of experience behind me. Contracting this work out, without full knowledge of good practice, means he is risking his good name and that of his company.

I agree. Fortunately for you, you found this place. Anxious TimeZoners may be pulling their hair out assuming that their credit card details are in the possesion of somebody named Vladimir.

That seems odd. It seems odd because at least 2 of us have had ours now for a week ie myself and philhenson although of course even those were 4 weeks late. What is different from those who are waiting compared to our watches ??? I could be wrong but Im beginning to think the orders might have exceeded CWL's expectations hence the delay for some. I ordered mine 24 hours after it became available to pre order yet I got number 350.

Also as CWL gets bigger the personal touch is sure to slip which is unfortunate. For instance I e,mailed Chris for a price and availability on a Kingfisher SS/IPK bracelet as I personally regret going for leather but I am also still waiting for a reply myself. I reckon his mailbox is starting to groan under the strain and he is not getting to all the messages properly nowadays. I would not be surprised if his personal email address is removed from public in the not too distant future.

I do agree on one thing though. It was a big mistake not to at least e,mail those who had placed definate orders for C6's about the delay. The website said " order now for delivery the end of August " so measures should have been taken to at least contact those who had placed firm orders as soon as CWL were aware of any delay. It was simply common sense to do so. Hopefully CWL will learn from this and react better to any future problems.

I will add one thing though. To those of you whose first CWL purchase is a C6 then fear not. Those of us who have been around longer know that CW cares about his customers. I have first hand personal experience of that and I know I am not alone. It will sort itself out I am sure.
