KF T3

Post by Tony Rama »

Hi everyone,

Just joined up. Got my KF T3 number 154 special discount (£85)yesterday.

A beautiful watch. Much better than the photos on the CW site.

I already have a couple af watches and I couldn't justify another, but at £85!! I couldn't resist.

I have been watching (excuse the pun) CW Forum and CW site for about a year now, and the KF seems to be the most rugged watch in the collection. Somehow I manage to scratch watches and watch straps and the KF looks and feels pretty strong.

Thank you. Anyone know the Ronda 715 movement?

Are there different versions?

They seem to be available for as little as £4.95 here:

http://watchpart.co.uk/ronda-m-72.html

Probably even cheaper by the hundred.

And it is already not bad, £ 4.95!

You know, a quartz movement is not worth very expensive ...
It is a google translation… please excuse the errors of language… thank you...

The reason I was asking about the 715 is because I suspect there are different versions. The one I found on the above quoted web site has 1 jewel, whereas the one Chris uses has 5, according to the specs.

I just wondered if anyone knew.

I doubt too many of us watch collectors would know much about quartz movements.

Does anybody know if there is a stock problem with this watch out as a few members have now expressed a concern that they have not recieved them yet?

On 3/1/08, the day before I ordered mine, I spoke to Chris to ask how many he had left because I didn't want to miss out on the offer. He said he had about 50 left at that time.

I ordered mine on jan 3 and got it last thursday, on the 10th. Really a teriffic watch and a great value. As fore the jewels question above: If you go to the Ronda homepage (ronda.ch) you can see that there are two versions of the 715 - a gilt 5 jewel swiss made, and a nickel 1 jewel "swiss parts". According to the webside the swiss made version also has a end of life indicator, which probably means that the second hand will start moving in 2-sec intevals when the battery is near need of change.
Cheers,
