Just how silvery is the dial on the C9 auto!

Post by Lochinvar »

I'm drawn to the simplistic elegance of the C9 auto and although not a huge fan of silver dialled watches, I would like to know just how the silver coloured dial appears under different lighting conditions, viz; worn under normal daylight. For those members who also possess the C9 Jumping Hour how do the dials compare colour wise? My first impressions taken from the CW photo library on the watches page would indicate a fairly high degree of silver coating, yet photos taken by other forum members albeit under different lighting gives the dial a softer shade of silver.

See the reference gallery here and this review of the C9 JH here, as well as some of downers photos of the C9 here.

These should give you a pretty good idea. The C9 auto is a more true silver than the stamped JH dial which leans toward white a bit.
