The C40 is a lovely watch and very good value. Only issue is I put mine on today and noticed I have taken a chunk out of my nob. No idea how I have done it or when. Bit upsetting not sure if anything can be done to save it. It is a rubbery and the lume was never brillian so may try take it out and relume it so it is a dot, not sure still.

Congrats and getting your hands on what should prove to be a bargain! Pics when it lands please as we like pics around here :)

Androo - i take it that by 'nob' you mean the lume pip on the bezel?

No problem. A bugger it fell of though. Could you ask Wera for a replacement and glue it back in/on?

I'm wearing mine this week, I forget what a lovely piece it is and every now and then you get the wobble... just to remind you its there and working away. Brilliant!

Enjoy and don't forget those pictures..
Hi Bonny,

What exactly do you mean when referring to the wobble, is it the out of balance rotor that winds the watch through kinetic energy!!.

Thank you Jag, sounds interesting, as i have not experienced that on any of my other watches either.

The rotor on the ETA7750 movement only winds the watch one way, so when it spins the other way it goes a bit faster = "wobble"

Yes i see what you mean.

It arrived today, as the man said, its new, no flaws at all, and i have had it under a very powerful magnifying glass.

All functions work as they should, leather strap has just one mark on the inside, where the adjustable buckle had been set (to small a setting for me). Box, paper work all present and as new.

Its a lovely watch, perfect size for my wrist, the luminous markers are the brightest i have ever seen in the dark. The whole package says "this is a class act".

Will keep a check on time keeping accuracy, over the next week, if its as good as my C11 (gained just 6 sec in 5 days) i will be more than pleased.

Very happy bunny :D :D .....

Mick.

PS. Will post photo`s tomorrow.

I see this thread is a little old, but I wondered how you resolved the issue? My nob has completely disappeared.
