Jumping Hour

Post by Trubstickers »

Hi all,
I'm interested in a Jumping Hour.
Is there anywhere where I can find the full range history and specifications?

Many thanks :D

Welcome back!

Take a look in the CW Archive here for all the details of the various Jumping Hour models:

The wife is, at best, apathetic towards my watch collection, but, if I ever got rid of my Jumping Hour Mk11…she’d leave me! Hang on a ‘minute!’

Is that a one-off that you created, e.g. by modifying with a disc from the MkII? I didn't think any of the C9 Jump Hour MkIII 40mm models had Roman numerals. The user guide also implies this with the statement:
For the first time, Arabic numerals are used in preference to Roman ones in the hour change aperture...
Or have we missed a production model/variant in the Archive? :-k

As far as I know the C9 JH MKIII 40mm was only Arabic. I am guessing the above is a mod or prototype.

Purchased fr CW in 2019 & a prototype I guess.

Saying all that, there are at least 5 in existence I have seen (3 in Taiwan, 1 in Boston & someone I bumped into at CW event in one of Central London hotels in 2019, the same day it had WorldTimeUK.)
