Jumping Hour MK2 arrives- Broken :-(

Post by C50cosc »

So eagerly awaited in all day, watch arrives, not ticking, will not wind, and what looks like a small silver washing visible through the rear case... Going to return for a full refund I think... Absolutely gutted... and feels like a waste of a day off work.. Still the weekend can only get better.

My Jump hour 1 arrived broken too. They will fix it in no time. It's a great looking watch.

Given the watch was presumably a considered purchase & the likelihood that it was broken in transit, don't think I would seek a refund at this stage, but rather look for a replacement.

I guess it could have been damaged in Transit, but it was very will packaged, but was delivery drop 109!!! However I feel a bit cross and disillusioned at the moment. Yours arrived broken too ? Not good...

I collect mine, all worked 100%. So looks like the postal system is at fault. :?

I have tried calling them to see if I can take the watch back to them tomorrow, as the showroom is now open Saturdays, but I think the offices are now closed :-(

You'd hardly leave the showroom with one that was broken!

Email Wizzie, she may read it tonight for you to sort tomorrow.

My Makaira was delivered damaged, too.

Do you mean Wera? Do you have the email address? I have emailed the usual customer service email, and Declan.. If I can drive down to Reading and get a working one tomorrow that would be the ideal.

If I don't receive a reply by tomorrow, should I just turn up at the showroom, I know it says by appointment only, but surely they would not object, or may there only be someone there at the time for booked appointments on a Saturday?
