July Sale 2024 Thread
Figured I would start a thread for the July sale, similar to the one made for the January sale. Anyone have the inside scoop on when it's supposed to go live?
What are you guys hoping to see get posted? I am hoping against hope that there is a prior version Elite 1000 with the GMT complication. Other than that I'm on the lookout for:
C60 Sapphire Black
Dune GMT
C65 Chronograph
Abyss or Shadow
Any SH21 watch
Bronze 300
Cordovan Bader deployment straps
Think the sale will last for a couple weeks like January, or be over in a couple days?

I think with that shopping list it'll all be over before it starts hahaha!Gawith4life wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 5:36 pm Figured I would start a thread for the July sale, similar to the one made for the January sale. Anyone have the inside scoop on when it's supposed to go live?

I'm sure there used to be a thing about a buying limit, you know, to hamper the flippers.

Re: July Sale 2024 Thread
A couple of those on the list might show up. There will undoubtedly be some 300s and some C63s. I wouldn't hold my breath on a 1000 GMT but you never know! They might have found one under a stack of boxes in the back! There might be some oldies in there if they were packing up for the move of HQ and came across a few.

I only have the funds to get one, maybe two on that list, those are just the ones I'm keeping my eyes peeled for! My eyes are bigger than my wallet for sure!tikkathree wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 5:43 pmI think with that shopping list it'll all be over before it starts hahaha!Gawith4life wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 5:36 pm Figured I would start a thread for the July sale, similar to the one made for the January sale. It's a long shot for sure! I have alerts set on ebay, but the last time I got an alert, it had already sold by the time I opened the email.rkovars wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 5:53 pm A couple of those on the list might show up. Just an FYI - the moderators keep track of sales data in the archive from several different sources (including the Facebook groups).Gawith4life wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 6:12 pmIt's a long shot for sure! I'd forgot all.about a sale. My aging fingers aren't up to it now. The only chance I have is to pick up something that gets ignored by everyone else.

I’m not seeking anything particularly though I will certainly look. I always say I shouldn’t because the enthusiasm can be infectious - and expensive.

Re: July Sale 2024 Thread
A couple of weeks ago I put the following into a PM to a forum member who will hopefully be buying one of my watches in a month or so's time;-
However, looking at the sum of the parts, it almost doesn't matter what the price is (within reason) it's a watch that, to me, needs to be bought and worn, no matter what.
Moreover, since it came out, I've not felt any urge to go and buy anything else (probably a good job too).
. . . the sentiment still holds strong.

I'm on a strict NO NEW WATCHES IN 2024 diet.
I will however be on the lookout for a titanium bracelet for my C63 elite

Re: July Sale 2024 Thread
I'm thinking.... a building relocation in the pipeline.... Wera's sofa will have to be moved, the old stereogram will be pulled away from the wall and the pinball machines and billiard tables in the staff rest room likewise: there could be all kinds of goodies not worth packing and relocating.
