It's still 60/60 if you don't like it, isn't it? ;D
Sure is. Will post pics when it arrives. Total impulse purchase but sometimes they’re the best ones!

I had to laugh when I got the email from CW for the sale and it says, "Your exclusive 24-hour preview to the Christopher Ward Summer Sale starts now."

Then I see on places like Reddit, people who obviously weren't on the "exclusive" email list asking for the link to the sale and people who I am assuming received the "exclusive" email sharing the link. So basically within minutes of the "exclusive" email going out to the "exclusive" mailing list, pretty much anybody who wants it has access to the sale and as is usual all the good deals are scooped up so quick it gives you whiplash.

I have no issue with CW opening their sale up to everyone, but please don't insult our intelligence by saying some of us have a 24 hour exclusive period when they are well aware that is not the case. Just have an open sale for everyone and stop telling some of us we have exclusive access

I do feel terribly teased that the C8 Flyer is still displayed and still listed as “Out of Stock” when I refresh. I’d jump at that price.

I’ve picked up a 22mm green canvass strap by mistake. I need the 20mm, so rather than send it back, I can move it on here. Similarly if anyone wanted to swap it for a 20mm, I’ll post it up in the sales section, once it arrives.

Apart from a couple of specials and a few exceptions, most of these watches can be picked up on the used market at the same price or less. So not the missed opportunity that once was, when discounts were 50% or so.

It's odd that the C8 Flyer Automatic - Nearly New, is still being listed for sale, even though it's been sold out for hours. As an American, I can only think, coincidence or conspiracy? 🤣

I've been out and about today and not been able to look at the sale. :-k. :-k

Mind you; I had / have a clear intention of not buying a watch or watches from it.

When a link to the exclusive sale is posted on a public Christopher Ward forum, what can anyone expect? It’s certainly not CWs fault.

Alternatively, police it more carefully.

Seeing as this happens with every sale, CW have to be well aware their exclusive 24 hour link is immediately shared to anyone that wants it. That being the case they should stop the farce of pretending the first 24 hours is exclusive to certain people. At this point the marketing of an exclusive day at the beginning of each sale is just disingenuous. Just advertise an open sale and no one will have false expectations.

If they truly wanted it to be exclusive then the link would only work for the people on the 'exclusive' list, once logged into the account the exclusive invite email was sent to.

As it is, I am happy for all to have access at the same time. With the ever growing publicity CW attract nowadays, the days of being able to deliberate for hours over sale items, are long gone😔

So why isn't anybody buying the Trident Pro 600 NOS?

Seems like a good price for a great deal of watch.

Well the ones that are left are all 42mm, and old style logo.
I guess people have become convinced that these are not the best choices nowaday, so they do represent a good deal potentially, if you look beyond that.

They are at a great price. As I already have both a blue and a black, I’m not buying as I don’t need two or more or each color. :D
