It's always worth checking the CW Archive:

Thank you for the link! Yea, I found it in archive last Friday, but just asked about possible info from someone aware of.
It's a bespoke edition for the GSPS, which is an admin section for the Royal Gurkha Rifles regiment.

I got in on the burgundy Trident on strap, a consolation prize for missing the 38mm version that was 200 dollars cheaper.

Do you mean the black one with the red bezel? I got sent one of those accidentally a couple of sales ago (I ordered a watch, and they sent me a GMT) but the bezel was a lovely matt red, not really glossy at all from what I remember. If it's that one, I'm sure you will like it.

Yep, that's the one! I haven't had the chance to experience a 38mm CW yet, and was hoping to snag that one. Sadly I was late to the VIP sale by over an hour, missing most of the best stuff.

My sale purchase has arrived. I bought a nearly new tide strap thinking it would have been returned with a 60/60 watch with maybe a mark where the buckle had sat during the owner trying it on.

What I didn’t expect was parts of the owner to accompany the strap embedded within the inner side of the keepers. I don’t know how this passed inspection but it needs a right good scrub before I’ll wear it. That’ll teach me to save £3 by buying nearly new instead of the sale item.

Unfortunately, that is what happens to QC when companies grow too quickly and are not prepared for it (i.e. Bel Canto). I am sure they need to hire more people to keep up with demand but sales hires always come first (i.e. Mike Pearson) before support departments.

I decided that if the Trident Pro 600 is on borrowed time I should take the opportunity now having wimped out at previous sales.

Judging by my timegrapher app the watch wound straight from the box is doing okay.

Is it going back? No.
What do I like? The reflective polish of the blood red ceramic bezel the matching date wheel and the deep gloss of the black dial.
I know what I like.

For now the bracelet remains unsized and the black & red Tide works better I think than on the Trident 300 case. My ancient bicolour leather nato from Yellowdog straps is grateful for something to do.

How is it feeling on a wrist? I wanted to buy a one but removed it from basket at the last moment.

I like it. Although to be fair I have always liked them. I do find that these newer versions are softer and therefore easier to break in than the first gen were.

The sale page is still active. I think there's just 12s left, other than straps.

Not on the navigation, but you can get there with the /sales URL
