Someone got themselves a good buy on a green dialed Aquitane on a bader bracelet this morning. The watch regularly lists for $1,165 US & its sale price was $625! Being on a bracelet rather than strap really made that a great buy for someone wishing to buy an Aquitane. That is the thing isn't? Although at that price, you would be getting into the territory in which flippers become interested. It didn't hang around long & was gone within about ten minutes.

A few more just disappeared. One significant one was the Trident Pro 600 Black on tropic rubber strap.

Didn't the last sale run for something like 6-8 weeks? Surprising that they're ending this sale quickly. Maybe they will keep a clearance section for a while that isn't an official "sale". I think maybe that's what they did before. Only time will tell.

I get really put off by desk diving swirls. I feel like not wearing the bracelet to avoid them. That was especially true when I was getting scratches like that during COVID, and not even going out. I have a few watches I actually keep on straps to preserve the bracelet.

if you get a bader bracelet (or any brushed bracelet) - those are super easy to make like new again. It takes 5 minutes with a 3M pad... If it's got a mix of polished and brushed surfaces then you're in trouble...

if you get a bader bracelet (or any brushed bracelet) - those are super easy to make like new again. It takes 5 minutes with a 3M pad... If it's got a mix of polished and brushed surfaces then you're in trouble...

I do a 3 stage 3m scotch brite buff, green first only if deep scratch followed by the pink, finishing with the grey then a soapy wash comes up like new
Yeah totally avoid if its the mk2 c60 straps with brushed and polished bracelet!!

I expect you would enjoy the red bezel version. That's still there, including one on a bracelet (bader, so maybe with screw links). If you are in the UK it's easy and free to return if you don't like.

Meanwhile ordering a watch to Ukraine becomes a very interesting quest But not impossible and what was done with C60 Elite 1000, was thinking which one to choose, C60 from sale or Elite on regular price point, but decided with the second one, the wish was bigger than logical price comparison

From USA/NYC so need to consider Duty. It is actually cheaper for me to order on strap (under $800US) and then get the bracelet in a separate order. Saving on the Duty pays for half the bracelet so in the end it only costs me about $15 more and I get both the rubber strap and bracelet.

I am not sure I like the darker red but maybe it will grown on me.

The other part of my brain is telling me to "suck it up buttercup and just purchase a 42mm Trident Pro 300 white dial on bracelet with a few straps and stop worrying about Duty costs over $800US".

The sale isn't even over, and I received yesterday, here in the U.S., the CW that I ordered. Now that's efficiency!
