I am on the same diet with CW being the exception because I do not yet own one.
(rules are no fun without exceptions)
I had a couple of friends who were vegetarian…except for a full English breakfast every Sunday.
And a friend who was teetotal…except when he drank alcohol.
Go for it!

So very funny.
My wife says I would make the world's best vegetarian as long as I could eat the occasional hamburger.

I’ve a friend who self-identifies as “freegan” being a vegan unless the food is free though he still won’t eat any meat.

During the January sale, I got the email and happened to be at my desk so it was very early and most things were still available.
I scored a Dartmouth V1 new old stock. Order was placed and processing. Then I shared it with my brother who talked me out off it due to the aluminum bezel and ghost position on the crown. Foolishly, I emailed CW and they were more than happy to cancel the order.
I could blame my younger brother for his influence (he and my older brother also collect watches) but I truly can only blame myself for such a foolish decision. I doubt I can ever redeem myself with a better score via a CW sale so I will probably avoid the one in July.

I'll add my true but sad story...

Even more so as the Dartmouth never had a ghost position!

Ahh yes, looking forward to this.
I think I'm after a C60 Abyss GMT, or maybe a C60 Anthropocene GMT, or maybe a C65 Aquitaine GMT in black.
While the Abyss is unlikely to be a visitor in the sale, you probably should expect to see the Anthropocene and the Orca Black Aquitaine GMT. Act fast as supply won’t typically be plentiful.

As far as I know, it did. Confirmed my Customer Service (after the order cancellation) and a few YouTube video reviews.
It is not much of a consolation but unlike many/most, I do actually like the v2 better having seen it at Windup NYC last year.
Nope. I have a V1 from nearly the beginning. Maybe some press samples did (that is what YouTubers get) but the shipping watches didn't have a ghost position. There was a YouTube review a while back on a C60 GMT MKIII and he stated it had a unidirectional bezel (which the press sample he got did) but the shipping units were all bi-directional. So it happens. FYI customer service is sometimes foggy on technical details like this and aren't always the best source.

Edit: not trying to be negative just genuinely curious, and unfamiliar. I gather from the story above about the new old stock for $750, some great deals are to be had.

I recall there being one in the January sale, I missed out and only know about it from a person that had screenshot the entire page and posted to the CW Enthusiasts FB group.
Regardless, let's see what comes up and how fast the fingers can be!

It isn't every model but in the past it has been clear items were hitting eBay the second they were purchased.

The discounts aren't as high as they were. A few years ago CW sales were often half price, and watches were lower priced anyway so C60s in the sale would probably only be around £400. This certainly encouraged rapid activity, owners buying to expand their collections, and flippers reselling. Typical discounts now are 20-30%. Even so given CWs continually improving image, with watches trading above MRSP, the prices remain attractive.
It's hard to keep everything, but in retrospect I can think of at least half a dozen CW watches I wish I'd bought/kept, and I don't flip my watches.

Hmm, I see the opposite. In r/watchexchange I see mostly ~40% discounts to MSRP. Perhaps not for special/limited editions, but I don't see what you see overall.
