It was actually an accident I bought it. I refreshed my PP screen to see what the GBP v's USA rate was when VAT removed and I hit complete.
This is pretty much exactly how I ended with a C60 Sapphire this week

DHL dropped it off just now. I'm impressed. If my watch was used, I couldn't tell. Plastic all over it, no flaws that I can see. All links present, warranty card, paperwork and CW cloth was unused.
I did notice that the bezel is much easier to turn on accident than my Trident. It's also multi directional. Little play in it, but not too bad. The lume is a PITA to photograph with my cell phone.

“Honey, it’s true I bought a watch. But it was an accident, honest!”
Clever or dumb?
Definitely a bit of both. I blame the fogginess of a mild but worsening hangover for the whole thing, really.
Mrs Beardo is of the opinion that the universe was telling me I really needed it. I'll accept either scenario

There’s also a minor burr on the edge of the bezel. I was looking for a magnifying glass yesterday to check the hands etc. and the one thing people said is “Don’t do it. It will ruin the experience.” and I think I agree with that and in the end I didn’t buy it.
Tide strap is so stiff it’s insane. So I ordered some fkm rubber straps. I’m not sure how I feel about the watch, but if I decide to keep it I will probably get the bracelet anyway.

Presumably this is a NN watch. If so, this seems perfectly reasonable.
I know there is lots of feedback that most NN watches are indistinguishable from new, but if you want a guaranteed new watch, buy new.
If you want a 30% discount then take the risk with a NN watch which may have some minor imperfections.
